Project Overview: In flights it is very difficult for the flight crew to know who has switched the flight attendant button first nd for what purpose as they have this layour of passenger accomodation on which the seat gets red as soon as someone switch it on. My task was to define a system in which these two problems are solved taking the new wifi system into consideration.

Literature Review:
At first i started looking for how does this work presently.Lets see how the layout of passenger accomodation
(LOPA ) looks like.
Now comes the question, does every crew member has to see the full flightor just a part.
As country changes flight work increases or decreases for example in USA for 50 seats there is one attendant whereas in Australia one attendant per 36 seats.
Also the flight attendant has now to see those no. of seats explicitly.Generally flights are divded into zones and then crew is divided accordingly so they have to look after that zone but sometime that division is also on the basis of class or the frequent flyers or someother measure.
Now comes the question, do Flight Attendants know for what purpose has the person called him/her. There should also be areceptor for it. It will make their job easy.
User Research: Not much user research was actually possible here but observing the duties and circumstances as it is quiet similar to what a waiter's job is and how he feels the problems were noted. Main problem what they face is when two people has ordered something and the one who has ordered late gets it first.
Problem Solution: It is a system using wifi consideration, this system is inspired from the working of phone and real time work.
Here flight Crew will be given an id and password and thereafter they can see these notifications related to their zones or class and as you click on some call you will be able to see the location and then the name and purpose.There will be short form for personal(P), shopping(S) and meal(M). Now how this information is deleivered, actually the inflight seat back monitors has this call flight attendant button at say meals menu, shopping menu and if you press from the main menu then it is considered as personal.
So this makes the task easy for flight attendants.
Some More search and setting options were introduced to make the task easy and system intuitive.
